Ingredients
- 1 cup organic coconut flour
- 1/2 cup cinnamon apple sauce (or 2 individual serving cups)
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup coconut oil
- 1/2 cup dried chamomile
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275 degrees F.
- Place silicone bone pan(s) on a cookie sheet - lightly grease with avocado oil spray (we used avocado spray).
- Combine all ingredients, mix well. The dough will be slightly crumbly but will hold together when pressed into a ball in your hand.
- Take a small piece of dough and form a ball. Press into bone shapes about 1” L x 1/2” W and place on a baking sheet. Leave about an inch between each treat. Repeat until all the batter is used up. Should make about (We use a silicon pan with a bone shape)
- Bake at 275 for 45 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes. If you used a silicone pan, flip upside down onto a cooling rack. Allow Bedtime Biscuits to cool completely
- Notes: If you do use the small silicone pans, one recipe will make approximately 4 pans of small bones (15-18 pieces). If you do not have 4 of them work in batches.
*Please note, that it's not a good idea to give chamomile to a pregnant dog as it can trigger uterine contractions, potentially causing premature labor.
