Open Box Dog Beds

Give a bed a second chance at life by buying Open Box. These are all items that were returned to us from other customers, typically due to the wrong size being ordered or a color not matching up quite right with the home decor. Every returned item we receive is carefully inspected for signs of use or damage, and those that are determined to be in like-new condition with minimal blemishes will be stocked as an Open Box product. 

Since these items aren’t quite as pristine as a brand new product, they’re sharply discounted—even though they’re still just as durable as their full-price equivalents. That means you’re getting the same great quality, just at a lower price. Since the stock of these items is dependent on customer returns, they're often available only in very limited quantities and only for a limited time. If one catches your eye, we recommend purchasing quickly, as there is no telling when another might become available again. 

What to Expect with an Open Box Purchase:

Open Box items do show signs of light/mild use, so your bed will have at least some small mark or blemish. The following are some (but not all) examples of what you might see on an Open Box item:

• Minor scuffs 

• Small spots of discoloration

• Light scratch marks (aesthetic only, no damage to underlying material)

• Scratches, scuffs, or small dings to the metal frame from transit (armored beds only)

What you will not see with any Open Box items:

• Large scratches that penetrate the surface of the material

• Holes, punctures, or tears

• Deep staining or odors

• Major signs of previous use

• Chew marks

• Cracked, warped, or broken frame pieces or corners

If a returned item exhibits any damage, it will be recycled or disposed of rather than stocked as an Open Box item. All items here are intended to be as functional as a brand new item, despite some aesthetic blemishes. 

Bear in mind that Open Box items are final sale, so please make sure to double-check the sizing and any personalization details before completing your order. Since these items are sold at a steep discount they are not covered by the same warranties as a brand new item—no 1 Year Chew Proof Warranty—but if an item arrives with damage from transit or displays a manufacturing defect, we will replace the item or provide store credit for its value under the 1 Year Manufacturer’s Warranty. Please note that cosmetic blemishes are expected with these products and are not covered under the Manufacturer’s Warranty.
