We're sorry to hear that the tug was chewed! Since this item is made thinner and more flexible in order to stretch, it can be more vulnerable to powerful or heavy chewing. If you're looking for something for your dog to gnaw on, the K9 Play Ball would be a sturdier option.

Still a Favorite
My pup loves this toy! I’m so surprised to read the bad reviews. Our pup destroys every toy pretty quickly, but this has lasted about 7 months so far. It’s great for fetch and tug of war.

We're sorry to hear that the tug didn't last, Kirk! The chew ball or bone might be a better choice if your dog really likes to gnaw on their toys, as those two are thicker and more solid. The tug, on the other hand, has a more narrow profile so that it can stretch and contort when pulled on, and this can make it more vulnerable to determined chewing.
