This is not a chew proof item at all. This cover is meant to be plush and soft, and does not contain any ripstop ballistic fabric. While the material is durable against regular use and wear and tear, it will not stand up to purposefully destructive behaviors like chewing and digging.

The cover is made from 100% polyester, including the faux fur and microfiber fabric.

Simply pull it off the mattress and machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle. Then machine dry with low heat.

Yes, it can! The mattress is the same, so you can either put it right over the existing Tough Ripstop™ cover, or you can take off the old ripstop cover and just use this one. The Designer Easy Clean™ cover is NOT chew-resistant, however, so if your dog is destructive with their bedding, please keep them supervised when using this cover.

Absolutely! This cover can be personalized with embroidery. To add it, just select the option to add personalization, select the thread color and font, and make sure to type in what you want to have embroidered.
