This is not a chew proof item. The nylon webbing has incredible tensile strength against pulling, stretching, and tearing, but it is not ballistic fabric and is not intended to withstand gnawing or biting. Excessive biting can also damage the interior elastic. Do not let your dog chomp on this bungee or leave it within reach of a chewer when unattended.

The exterior of the bungee is made from nylon webbing, while the interior contains elastic strands to make it stretchy. The swivel clip and D-ring are both made from metal.

The bungee is covered under our 30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty, which applies to manufacturing defects only. This is not meant to be a chew-resistant item and is not covered by the 120 Day Warranty.

The bungee won’t stop or prevent pulling, but it does make the walking experience more pleasant by minimizing the strain that hard pulls and tugs put on your shoulder and your dog’s neck.

This bungee ends in a fairly standard D-shaped ring, so most leash clips can attach to it with no problems. Due to differences in design between manufacturers, though, we can't 100% guarantee compatibility with every single leash on the market.

The bungee will help ease the strain of any sudden jerk or pull that a leash-reactive dog might make, but it can reduce your overall control over them and make it harder to settle them down when triggered. We recommend speaking with your vet or dog trainer to see if this accessory would be a good option for your particular pup.

Simply wipe the webbing down with a damp cloth periodically to keep it looking new. For more stubborn stains or odors, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent and air dry. Do not machine wash.
