The bed is honestly great. I sat on it myself to encourage my pup to check it out and it had great support, the quality of the cover was fantastic. A small note on the customization - there were a lot of strings that were kind of sticking out and caught the interest of the pup quickly. I did have to cut a part of a letter and pull off the strings to prevent consumption.

However, once my 1 year old golden retriever stopped being afraid of it, it took her about a minute to detect that the corners were the easiest spot to bite with her back teeth and a few seconds later, the first small hole had been made.

So now this bed is a controlled access item, as she has continued to rip the corners little by little. It's unfortunate, as my pup loves to lie down in comfy, plush beds and I was hoping this would be the solution to us going through beds that she was ripping through.

My dog, however, would rate this as a 10/10 chew toy, as it is not often she gets to lie comfortably on the item she's chewing.

So if you've got a determined chewer, even if not a particularly agressive one, this won't be the solution, but it is very well made.

As a disclaimer: I haven't tried to claim warranty on the cover yet, since I am trying to gently discourage the chewing before we introduce a brand new cover.

Thank you so much K9 Ballistics- this bed is awesomeness in so many ways! First off let me say I got this on clearance and didn’t really understand just how big this bed was going to be. I’m 5’2 and can sleep on it with my 73 lb lab mix. Which, the first night I did!(I mean, I paid for it! Why not?!) We slept like babies and he continues to sleep throughout the night with no tossing and turning. I slid half the bed under our human bed and now he has a setup right next to where momma sleeps. It’s big enough he can’t tote it around in his mouth like he did the smaller “pillow like” dog beds and shred them. I’m satisfied this bed will last for YEARS for him, and an added perk is if we go camping we can use it for the both of us in the tent! So pleased with my purchase!
