Made from heavy-duty ballistic fabric and filled to a 1.5” thickness with recycled polyester fiberfill, this Chew Proof Armored™ Replacement Pad is designed to replace any old or worn down armored bed sling. Compatible with any square-style Chew Proof Armored™ aluminum frame, so long as the dimensions match.

Please note this is not a standalone bed and should not be used without a chew proof armored frame. It has thin edges (normally covered by the frame) that are very vulnerable to chewing if left exposed. Do not allow your dog to use this item without a frame.

Absolutely the best
So happy replacement pads are available, my goober is a digger and after 1.5 years he’s managed to dig through both sides yet the frame is in perfect condition. It was so easy to replace and we’re both happy campers!!

My Max seems to approve
However, the photo online is a bit misleading and the unhelpful phone person was just annoying. In the online photo, it appears that the pad come with fasteners to attach it to the bed frame. When I called, your "customer service" person told me that I needed to take the bed apart, and take out the hammock it had, and put the pad on the frame. There is no way to make that work, I'm really not being stubborn, but I've measured and it won't fit around the frame and I don't see a way to make it stay in the frame. In addition, I'm not a young person, I live alone and this is unfeasible to even attempt by myself. So, the pad just is on top of the hammock and seems to work but not the way I expected...oh well.

We're sorry for the confusion, Mary! If you open up the frame corners with a 4.5 mm allen wrench, you'll see how the bed fits together—the hammock center has sleeves along the edges with flexible poles inside, and those poles (and sleeves) slide into the slot that's in each frame piece. You'll need to take the poles out of the existing hammock, slide them into the sleeves on your pad, and then you can slide the edges into the frame pieces. The poles keep the material firmly anchored inside the frame so that it can't slip out.
