Densely-woven (1200D) heavy duty ballistic fabric withstands punctures and tears from digging and scratching. Odor-resistant, stain-resistant, and machine-washable, this material will outlast whatever your dog throws at it. It comes in two style options:

Original - Ballistic fabric with a smooth, slick finish that fur and dirt won't stick to. Features a DWR coating and a waterproof backing to protect the bed from moisture. Works well both indoors and outside. Available in Obsidian Black.
Velvet - Ballistic fabric with a fuzzy coating that makes it soft to the touch, but fur might stick more easily. Works best with indoor-only beds. Available in Two-tone Gray Velvet.

This listing is for the exterior cover only and does not include the inner mattress fill, mattress liner, or bolster pillow. It is meant to replace the cover on an existing bed.

This is not a chew proof item. The ripstop ballistic fabric is durable and will hold up to wear and tear as well as digging, scratching, and light chewing, but it can be damaged by aggressive or persistent chewing habits.

This listing is for a cover only, and will arrive as a single item. The cover is folded and packed in a plastic bag to protect it during transit.

The cover is made from 1200D ripstop ballistic polyester fabric, including the black bottom. There is a textured rubber coating on the bottom of the bed cover to prevent it from sliding.

Simply wipe the cover down with a damp cloth or scrub away any stubborn spots with soap and warm water. For a more thorough cleaning, remove it from the mattress and machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle. Make sure to zip up the cover and keep it right side out before adding it to the machine. Air dry if possible, or machine dry on low heat.

No, this cover does not include the bolster pillow fill and we do not sell that portion separately. While this cover will fit on a standard 5" thick rectangle orthopedic mattress, the bolster edge will remain empty and floppy unless you fill it with your own loose stuffing.

Yes, you can! This cover can be personalized with embroidery as long as you choose obsidian black as the bed color. Velvet color options cannot be personalized due to the velvet coating.

To add it, just select the option to add personalization, select the thread color and font, and make sure to type in what you want to have embroidered. Embroidery is case-sensitive and will appear exactly as typed. Please be aware that personalization is not chew- or scratch-resistant and can be damaged by destructive dogs.
