This is not a chew proof item. The nylon webbing has incredible tensile strength against pulling, stretching, and tearing, but it is not ballistic fabric and is not intended to withstand gnawing or biting. Do not leave this collar within reach of a chewer when unattended.

For us, "B stock" refers to items that have minor issues that lower their aesthetic quality but do not diminish the function or durability of the product.

In the case of these collars specifically, they came from a batch where the stitching ended up looking a little wonky. All seams are sealed and strong, but the stitching itself ended up a bit crooked in spots. Not noticeable from afar, but something you can see when you first unwrap the collar and handle it. While each collar still meets all the durability standards set for this design, we just didn't feel comfortable charging full price due to the cosmetic issue.

Yes! Every collar is still brand-new. These are not previous returns and have never been used by anyone else. The "B stock" label refers exclusively to the crooked stitching.

The collar buckle is a Cobra® ProStyle Buckle, made from aluminum. The collar material is nylon webbing. The D-ring and other miscellaneous hardware are all made from metal.

The collar is covered under our 30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty, which applies only to manufacturing defects that affect the function of the collar. This is not meant to be a chew-resistant item and is not covered by the 120 Day Chew Proof Warranty.

Since this is a B stock item, cosmetic defects like crooked or uneven stitching do not qualify for replacement under the Manufacturer's Warranty. Cosmetic defects are expected, and are the reason these collars are so sharply discounted. Cosmetic defects do not affect the function or durability of the collar.

Simply wipe the collar down with a damp cloth periodically to keep it looking new. For more stubborn stains or odors, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent and air dry.
