This is not a chew proof item. The seat belt webbing has incredible tensile strength against pulling, stretching, and tearing, but it is not intended to withstand gnawing or biting. The ripstop body can resist light levels of mild chewing, but the piping can be pulled off. Do not leave this harness within reach of a chewer when unattended.

This harness has a tighter fit with a chest strap that helps restrict a dog's ability to lunge and pull, and it will give you more control over a reactive dog. However, it does not have a front clip, so unlike a front-clip style no-pull harness, it will not redirect your dog if they try to pull. Instead, it makes the entire pulling process more difficult for the dog.

With that said, powerful or determined dogs may still be able to pull if they really put their mind to it.

This listing is for one K9 Pro™ Dog Harness. It will arrive sealed in a plastic bag and will only require some adjusting of the straps for a nice, snug fit on your pup.

The harness buckle is a GT Cobra® Buckle, made from 100% polymer. The body of the harness is made from 1200D ripstop ballistic polyester fabric with breathable mesh padding.  The straps are seat belt webbing made from polyester. The D-ring and other miscellaneous hardware are all made from metal.

Quite frankly, a metal buckle is total overkill! Plastic might sound flimsy, but not all plastics are made the same. Sturdy polymer and an advanced design ensure that this buckle will last.

The biggest advantage to polymer over metal, in this case, is comfort. The metal version of this buckle is bulkier and a lot heavier, and it has to hang from your dog's side all day. There's no sense in putting your pup through that discomfort when a lightweight alternative that's just as effective is available.

The harness is covered under our 30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty, which applies to manufacturing defects only. This is not meant to be a chew-resistant item and is not covered by the 120 Day Warranty.

Simply wipe the harness down with a damp cloth periodically to keep it looking new. For more stubborn stains or odors, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent and air dry.

Yes! This harness can be personalized with heat transfer vinyl. Feel free to add your phone number, dog's name, or even a short phrase like "Working Dog" for easy identification.

To add it, just select the option to add your dog’s name, select the text color, and type in what you want to have printed. Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged, so check your sizing carefully.

For best results, measure both the circumference of the base of your dog’s neck and the circumference of their chest behind their front legs, and then select the size that includes those measurements in its range.
