Is this harness chew proof?

This is not a chew proof item. The seat belt webbing has incredible tensile strength against pulling, stretching, and tearing, but it is not intended to withstand gnawing or biting. The ripstop body can resist light levels of mild chewing, but the piping can be pulled off. Do not leave this harness within reach of a chewer when unattended.

What comes in the box?

This listing is for one K9 Pro™ Dog Harness. It will arrive sealed in a plastic bag and will only require some adjusting of the straps for a nice, snug fit on your pup.

What is this harness made from?

The harness buckle is a GT Cobra® Buckle, made from 100% polymer. The body of the harness is made from 1200D ripstop ballistic polyester fabric with breathable mesh padding. The straps are seat belt webbing made from polyester. The D-ring and other miscellaneous hardware are all made from metal.

Why don't you use a metal buckle?

Quite frankly, a metal buckle is total overkill! Plastic might sound flimsy, but not all plastics are made the same. Sturdy polymer and an advanced design ensure that this buckle will last. The biggest advantage to polymer over metal, in this case, is comfort. The metal version of this buckle is bulkier and a lot heavier, and it has to hang from your dog's side all day. There's no sense in putting your pup through that discomfort when a lightweight alternative that's just as effective is available.

Is this harness covered under warranty?

The harness is covered under our 30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty, which applies to manufacturing defects only. This is not meant to be a chew-resistant item and is not covered by the 120 Day Warranty. For more details or to submit a claim for a defect, please visit our warranty page.

How do I clean this harness?

Simply wipe the harness down with a damp cloth periodically to keep it looking new. For more stubborn stains or odors, hand wash in cold or lukewarm water with mild detergent and air dry.

Can I personalize the harness?

Yes! This harness can be personalized with heat transfer vinyl. Feel free to add your phone number, dog's name, or even a short phrase like "Working Dog" for easy identification. To add it, just select the option to add your dog’s name, select the text color, and type in what you want to have printed. Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged, so check your sizing carefully.

What size should I get?

For best results, measure both the circumference of the base of your dog’s neck and the circumference of their chest behind their front legs, and then select the size that includes those measurements in its range. Great harness!
The fit is great no matter the shape and size of the dog. Use the sizing chart.
We had ours personalized for our adoptable dogs and it looks great.
The lining is smoother than others which tap tons of shedded hair and turns the inside into an itchy pin cushion.
Highly recommend!

It’s a good harness, only one clip on the back
However my puppy was trained to walk with the leash clipped in the front. This harness only has a clip in the back. That is my only complaint… other than that it’s a great harness

Great Training Harness
Absolutely love using this Harness for training my German Shepherd. I customized it so it would say “do not pet” and it’s been so helpful in keeping people away from randomly walking up my dog while training in public. Truly a lifesaver! I also like the handle on top if I ever need to grab him quick for traffic reasons!
