Each panel has its own strips of hook and loop fastener so that it can be rolled up and held in place, making this cover compatible with both front- and side-door crates. Zippered edges and corner tie-downs allow you to anchor any lowered flaps in place against the crate and prevent your dog from pulling them through the wires. A small flap on top maintains ventilation and air flow.

In addition to being tough, the ballistic material is weather resistant and can be used both indoors and outside to protect your dog from the elements.

This is not a chew proof item. The ripstop ballistic fabric is durable and will hold up to wear and tear as well as scratching and biting, but if your dog likes to gnaw persistently on material they may be able to damage it. Anchor the flaps to the side of the crate to reduce the risk of damage when using this cover with a destructive pup.

This cover is a single unit, and will arrive folded up in a small box or shipping bag if purchased by itself.

The cover is made from 1200D ripstop ballistic polyester fabric. There is a waterproof backing applied to the material that is made from PU.

Simply wipe the cover down with a damp cloth or scrub away any stubborn spots with soap and warm water. For a more thorough cleaning, machine wash in cold water on a delicate cycle. Air dry if possible, or machine dry on low heat. You will need to clip any zip ties holding the cover to the crate, but these can be replaced with standard zip ties.

The crate cover is covered under our 30 Day Manufacturer's Warranty, which applies to manufacturing defects only. This is not meant to be a chew-resistant item and is not covered by the 120 Day Warranty.

Our ballistic material has a DWR treatment on top and a waterproof PU backing applied to the underside. These additions will help keep water from soaking through the cover, but seams can be a point of entry for fluid. For that reason, the crate cover is considered water-resistant, not 100% waterproof. If using this cover on an outdoor crate in a rainy environment, we recommend keeping the crate partially sheltered to avoid any chance of water pooling on top and seeping through.

Water-resistance will also wear down with time, especially with prolonged exposure to heat or direct sunlight. If you notice water soaking into the material, you can use a water-repellent restorer on the cover to help protect it.

Yes, you can! This cover can be personalized with embroidered lettering. To add it, just select the option to add personalization, select the thread color and font, and type in what you want to have embroidered. Embroidery is case-sensitive and will appear exactly as entered.

Please be aware that personalization is not chew- or scratch-resistant and can be damaged by destructive dogs. Personalized items cannot be returned or exchanged, so check your sizing carefully.

For best results, measure the outside dimensions of your crate and compare to the dimensions listed for our covers to find the one that matches. These covers will work well even with crates that are slightly smaller or larger than the cover, but try not to let the size difference exceed one inch—if the crate is too big the cover flaps won’t be able to seal shut, and if the crate is too small the cover will be loose and floppy.
