Got one for my 10 m/o ~65lb pup after she had degraded her first living room bed to its early retirement. After ~2 weeks she’s gotten a bit more used to it and will sometimes lounge on it, but mostly prefers chewing the frame (chewing not K9 Ballistics’ fault)… she hasn’t slept on it yet.

Bed is certainly rugged, but there are clear cosmetic scratches from her teeth on the aluminum, which appear as early as the first bite. If that sort of thing bothers you, or your dog would be peeved by a slightly scratched surface, I’d look for another option. I don’t think the bed will get destroyed, which is great, but I’m not sure if it’s the comfiest option around for a dog who generally enjoys sleeping on the floor but sometimes preferences a bed when presented with both options.

We’ll keep it but I wouldn’t bang down doors or throw out a slightly worn bed to get one.
