Fun to chew
We played with our Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd for a day or so, then they chewed the handle off. It was fun while it lasted. We had to loosen the prongs around the ball so it would release easier. The dogs loved it!

ball to small
I can't use because of small yard, but I'm sure he would like it.
the only thing is I we make the ball slightly larger. I have seen a retriever get it stuck a t the back of the throat. Dog had to be put down :(

Thank you for your review! It's true that this product is designed for standard-sized tennis balls, so if your dog cannot have normal tennis balls, this won't be a good fit.
