This blanket is built to last! Made from velvet ballistic fabric engineered to maximize both durability and comfort, our Tough Ripstop™ Dog Blanket withstands wear and tear, heavy scratching, and frequent washings with ease. Use it to protect your furniture or flooring from doggie play, or add it to your dog's bed to make their space a little cozier. This blanket will help shield your home from dirt, moisture, and whatever else your pup brings with them into the house.

While this blanket does utilize the same ripstop ballistic fabric of our Tough beds, the relatively thin and flexible design makes it easy for a destructive chewer to get between their jaws and work away at. For this reason, the blanket is not considered chew resistant and should not be left unattended with dogs that tend to chew.

We're sorry to see that the blanket was chewed! This item isn't really meant for more persistent or destructive chewers, so if your dog does like to chomp on their bedding we recommend keeping them supervised while the blanket is in use. You can also apply a chew deterrent spray like bitter apple or bitter cherry to the areas your dog is gravitating towards to discourage further damage.

Indestructible
I have so many chewed up dog beds in my basement. We keep the dogs in the kitchen when we leave the house. My young dog before this mat was able drag the dog bed outside of the dog door. Not this one! I would highly recommend it. If you are looking for a fluffy bed this isn’t it but it allows a certain level of comfort and is better than have ng the dogs lay on the floor.

Didn’t shred
Macy was not able to shred this like other blankets. She was able to make a small hole but gave up because she couldn’t tear it. Keeps her safe and dog hair, slobber off the floor and furniture.
